Woodstock crashed out of the FA Vase on saturday with a poor performance at Sussex County League Ringmer. Sports started the better of the two sides without creating any clear oppertunites but on 14 minutes a long clearance found a home attacker in space and he shot past Jack Rankin to open the scoring , Ranking did well a minute later to turn over another effort. Sports tried to get back into the game but were unable to make any inroads and when they fell two goals behind on 38 minutes the task looked even harder.
Within 3 minutes of the start Ringmer had gone three ahead with adirect free kick and Sports were reduced to 10 men as Lewis Rivett was sent off for two yellow cards. Woodstock went from bad to worse  and were unable to get a single attempt on target whilst Ringmer had numerous options to increase their lead which they did with two late goals
